Wentong Tower is located in Shaohu Park, at the northwestern corner of Chuzhou District, Huaian City, Jiangsu
Province, facing the canal on the west. It was formerly known as Zunsheng Tower, firstly built in 708 AD, that is,
under the reign of Emperor Zhong in the Tang Dynasty, having 13 floors and being 44m tall. Made of brick structure
now, it has no beam column, is octagonal, 23m high, and has 7 floors. Its body is yellow and eaves blue. In 2013,
it is selected as a historical site under national key protection.
